It is springtime and all through the campus a fashionable trend is ringing in. As the warmer weather dawns and the skies come out, the thighs come out, too. Chubbies is a brand of shorts that has marketed themselves with the model of a minimal-inch seem, allowing excessive thigh exposure and a weekend outlook every day of the week. Fun in the sun is what Chubbies are all about – perfect for the upcoming long Easter weekend. chubbies1American made and manufactured shorts, Chubbies strives to bring out the U. S. of A. in all of us. As he prepares to take on the long weekend ahead, sophomore Alex Reinhard exemplifies the comfortable signature look for the brand in his American flag shorts. chubbies2Heading to your last class before you head on home? Try a classic colored pair of Chubbies with just the right amount of exposed thigh-age. Sophomore Phil Rodo partnered his Chubbies with a patterned button down for a playful, chic look. chubbies3Take a more laid back approach to your look and don’t be afraid to let the shorts (or your thighs) speak for themselves. With a seemingly simple approach, junior Alex Monroe makes a bold statement in his two-tone ensemble. chubbies4Heading to church or a family gathering for this upcoming Easter Sunday? Who said you have to put your Chubbies away? Junior Mitch Kornhaus certainly didn’t as he demonstrates a classier (and frattier) take on the Chubbies look, proving once again the versatility behind the shorts. chubbies5Take a break from schoolwork over Easter and try something new, something daring – something that would make your shorts proud to show off those toned and soon-to-be tanned thighs. Sophomore Michael Pasti demonstrates the fun-loving aspect short shorts bring to any situation.

How are you going to have fun this break? Maybe, just maybe, you’ll find it through daring fashion trends.
