Week at a Glance: March 30-April 5

Easter Break begins this Friday on Good Friday, but there are still several activities happening around Messiah College in the next several days. Below is a list of all activities and events for the coming short week.

Alternate Chapel

A bible study on The Kingdom of God will be led by Dorothy Gish Monday at 6 p.m. in Frey 110. She will be examining the Kingdom of God based around her own personal experiences and display the importance of living out faith.

Common Chapels

A special service to observe Holy Week will be taking place for Common Chapel on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. in Brubaker Auditorium.

There will be a footwashing chapel at Common Chapel this Thursday at 9:45 a.m. in Brubaker Auditorium.

Special Events

Apartment sign-ups begin Monday at 7 p.m. in Kline 120 with three-person apartment sign-ups. Five-person apartment group verifications will begin tonight, with sign-ups for five-person apartments then happening on Wednesday in Kline 120. Students are encouraged to read the mass emails on apartment sign-ups for more information, and to visit this link for apartment sign-up info.

The theological honors society will have their induction ceremony on Monday at 5:30 p.m. in Hostetter Chapel.

The 2015 Messiah Wellness Day will be this Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m. and running throughout the day in Brubaker Auditorium. Several events will be taking place around campus coinciding with Wellness Day; for a full list of the schedule of events, visit this link.

Sports

After seeing their games moved back due to field conditions on Saturday, Messiah baseball will take the field in for a home doubleheader Monday beginning at 1 p.m. against Arcadia at the Starry Sports Complex. They will also be home Wednesday at 4 p.m. for a game against Shenandoah.

Messiah softball will be hosting a doubleheader against Lycoming on Saturday beginning at noon.
