Messiah College will be opening at 10 a.m. today due to icy roads and sidewalks. There will be a modified two-hour delay schedule in place.
The icy conditions had prompted a campus-wide message to be sent last night on Messiah’s text alert system. This message stated that the school was aware of the icy sidewalks and roads and urged students and faculty to take caution while traveling around campus.
Freezing rain yesterday afternoon and then overnight led to the icy conditions experienced yesterday evening across campus.
