Electrical adjustments to Frey Hall’s new addition will require a closure and shutdown of power to the building Thursday night.

Pulse Staff Report

Frey Hall will experience a temporary power shutdown Thursday night to allow for electrical adjustments to the building’s new addition. During the shutdown, the building will be closed to all faculty, staff, and students.

According to a mass email sent out by Facility Services this morning, the shutdown will begin around 10:00 pm on Thursday night. It is expected to last no more than four hours.

Project Manager Russ Ehrich says that the new addition to Frey is currently receiving its power from a temporary feed. The shutdown will allow for the electrical contractor to land the permanent service that will give electrical power to the new addition.

Questions regarding the mass email may be sent to Denise Blackley at campus ext. 7145 or Questions about the shutdown may be sent to Russ Ehrich at ext. 3550.
