Here’s the line up of events happening this Thursday for the grandparents on campus

7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.        Registration and Continental Breakfast

Hitchcock Arena of Sollengberger Sports Center

7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.       Photo opportunity with student with grandparents(s)

Hitchcock Arena of Sollenberger Sports Center

9:15 a.m.                         Special Grandparents’ Day Chapel with your grandchild(ren)

10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.    You are welcome to enjoy the following throughout the day:

  •  Stop by one of the various campus eateries for lunch (coupon included in your packet)
  • Walk our beautiful nature trail along the Yellow Breeches
  • View the art exhibits in the Aughinbaugh Art Gallery in Climenhaga Fine Arts Center
  • Tour our 10,000-square foot Oakes Museum in the Jordan Science Center featuring more than 40,000 specimens
  • Shop our College Bookstore for special grandparent merchandise (coupon included in your packet)
  • Stroll the grounds of our beautiful campus
  • Attend a class with your grandchild*

*Due to space limitations, the following courses are NOT available for visitation: COMM 217: Intro to Film (Fabrizio Cilento), COMM 282: Science Fiction Cinema (Fabrizio Cilento), FYS 27-28 (Fabrizio Cilento), HRM/LEAD 312: Leading Organizational Change (Jennifer Dose), ENGL 172: Literature and the Life of Faith (Paul Nisly), RELI 344: History of Christianity (Dough Jacobsen), THEO 223: Global Christian Theology (Doug Jacobsen)

3:00 p.m.                                    Stories of the Oak Museum of Natural History

Hollinger Lounge of Jordan Science Center – Ever wonder how an animal gets from the safari in Africa to becoming an exhibit in our museum? Ken Mark, the director of the Oakes Museum of Natural History, will share some exciting stories with you!

3:30 p.m.                                   Guided Tour of the Oakes Museum
